notes:
[title] comes from circo 163, reproducir y repetir by pep aviles. this happens to be were i first came across the merkur department store by egon eiermann.
[image] comes from architecture de cartes postales, which asks the same question: where is this building?!

i think it’s the now called kaufhof, a well known department store in berlin. if you google kaufhof eiermann, you’ll find many images. well, if it’s not the same, at least it looks alike, i guess.
i think that’s it: http://goo.gl/maps/o7NEu

it was fun, indeed! have you seen all the kaufhof-eiermann façades?
